GoodMingl.com

This startup is…Retired

Problem:

Communities and social apps are broken. Users join, rarely engage, and are left participating in conversations that don’t matter.

Solution:

The entire idea of social media needs a reboot. I’m starting by building a direct competitor to Slack, Discord, and FB groups. If you want more info, visit goodmingl.com.

Description:

GoodMingl is a community platform powered by AI. We aim to replace the Community Manager with an AI that handles onboarding, automated introductions, discussion finding, and generates deep user insight for community owners.

Something I applied to YCombinator with in late 2020. More info here

Updates:

This page represents just one of the many startup ideas that I post publicly. I tend to do this ideation work a LOT thanks to my ever curious brain.

Very few of these turn into reality but they represent fun thought experiments that I sometimes review, add to and explore further.

I share this stuff freely online because ideas are meaningless without execution.

If you like the idea on this page, and want to work on it, feel free.

Let me know if you do. I might want to join in!

Ideas are fun, but they don’t turn into reality without a community to support them. Leave a reply below if you have something interesting to contribute – even if you think this idea sucks!

After hours...

When I’m not at my desk, I pass the time readingbuilding and brainstorming startups, whiteboarding, blogging, building the future of money and tech, and occasionally, playing a bit of billiards.
